SALINAS VALLEY GROWS READERS
A Family Reading Festival

In 2016 the Read to Me Project held the first Salinas Valley Grows Readers, a family reading festival.  More than 750 parents and children joined us for a fun day of reading, music, games, and story-telling.  Plus, over 1600 free books were given to local children!

Join us to share the gift of literacy with local children

We are looking for adult volunteers for the 2nd annual Salinas Valley Grows Readers.  Only 4-5 hours of your time is required.  Volunteers are needed to help distribute free books to the children, manage games, greet families, and help guide adults and children throughout the activities. Bilingual volunteers are especially needed.

When: Sunday April 30th Noon – 3

Where: The First Tee, 1551 Beacon Hill Drive, Salinas
